Gurgaon: The Ministry of Health will not hold a drive vaccination at the location of the government session on Sunday on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
“We will continue the journey at the government location on Monday,” said Dr.
MP Singh, district immunization officer.
On Saturday, a total of 22,353 people were inoculated in 130 session sites established in government and private health care institutions.
From them, 18,394 people in the age group 18 to 44 years inoculated; 3,010 over 45 vaccinated; 144 Health workers and 805 frontline workers get Jab.
In addition, 11,459 received their first dose and 10,894 received their second dose.
While coverage in government centers was 8,688, it was 13,665 in private facilities on Saturday.
Dr.
Singh said that the department had sufficient vaccine stock.
“At present, we have 25,000 doses of covishield and 10,000 covaxin doses,” added Dr.
Singh.
Meanwhile, Gurgaon reported six Covid cases on Saturday, took the calculation to 1,81,017.
With this, the active case stands at 79.
