Bhubaneswar: Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou) will not carry out the entrance examination to enter the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) this year.
Each candidate with a minimum feasibility can register for the course and receive the entrance ticket directly for the July 2021 session.
TRIPATHY SK, regional director, Ignou Regional Center Bhubaneswar, said the last date to enter the MBA course was September 30.
“All Indian Councils for Technical Education (AICTE) have approved a new MBA program designed by Ignou.

“This course is contemporary and designed for both new graduates and labor,” he added.
Ignou’s official source said they were conducting an entrance test to select candidates who qualified to enter the course.
But this year, they will not do this entrance test.
Even though they haven’t given any reason, the Covid situation might encourage them to take such a step.
Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree, at least three years duration and with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent in the case of candidates belonging to the category ordered) qualified to enter.

The receipt for the July session was underway.
The University also launched four master titles and three PG Diploma courses this year.
“We provide a master’s degree in Jyotish Shastra.
It will teach the art of astrology, horoscopes and other ins and outs of Jyotish Vidya.
A candidate will pay Rs 12,600 for the entire two-year course,” said an Ignoo officer.
