Kabul: A Taliban spokesman said the US had to resolve the evacuation of people from Afghanistan on August 31, the Biden government was determined to withdraw all American troops.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said his group would receive “no extension” to the deadline.
He said life returned to normal in the country but chaos at the airport remained a problem.
Many Afghans desperate to escape the Taliban takeover from the country.
Mujahid said he was “unconscious ” meeting between the Taliban and the CIA, but he did not deny that such meetings occurred.
An official said the Director of the US Agency met with the Top Taliban political leader in Kabul on Monday.
