Coimbatore: The district did not receive fresh stock from the Covid-19 vaccine for the fifth consecutive day on Tuesday, hitting a drive inoculation.
For the third day in a row, there were no vaccination camps carried out for the public in this district.
However, there are several doses of vaccines left to investigate pregnant women, who can approach government hospitals or village health nurses for Jab.
Meanwhile, around 50 to 60 representatives from the Indian Trade Union Center (Culu), the Indian Social Democratic Party (SDPI), Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (TDPK), Street Traders Association and Very Low Welfare Association protested “Very Low” Vaccine Repairing for Mettupalayam Municipality on Tuesday morning.
They gathered behind the Mettupalayam bus standing protests and said, even small village panchayats were given more doses than it to the municipality.
The protesters said on Friday that Mettupalayam received the last 200 dose allotment, it was also after many quarrels.
They said the municipality received a vaccine allotment only once a week and a limited dose at several hundred.

But we only get 200 doses, it also after meeting with collectors twice and direct health workers.” Indicates that the municipalities have a population of 65,000, the protesters say the population is desperate to be investigated.

“They are not on WhatsApp and Facebook and do not get updates on vaccination at 10pm, when they have reached the primary health center to anticipate tokens the following day.
They don’t want to miss the opportunity to get the last dose.” Basha, meanwhile, said the department Health is conducting vaccination camps in remote areas in and around Pillur, where residents do not want to be fully investigated.
