PANAJI: BJP on Tuesday promised not to add state duties to gasoline and diesel for the next three years, give three free LPG cylinders per year to every house in Goa, and improve pensions under the Samjik Sajajik Dairand Yojana (DSSY) to Rs 3,000.
The fuel guarantee came in the background of BJP’s severe criticism facing the increase in LPG cylinder prices, gasoline, and diesel for years, and also that the Manifesto Congress promised to limit gasoline at Rs 80 per liter.
In what could be called an old wine in a new bottle, BJP once again promised to continue mining activities within six months since forming a government.
“Within six months forming a government, we will revive mining in the state through the corporation of cave mineral development and auction of iron ore blocks through transparent leasing and follow the legal process,” Manifesto 22 points, released by Union.
Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, said.
With his manifeste, BJP has tried to reach all parts of the women, government employees, sportsmen, police, disabled people (PWD), senior citizens, entrepreneurs, farmers, fishermen and youth.
Manifesto also promised to provide “good quality housing” for all goans in the next five years by providing home loans for a decent family with a 2% interest rate for women and 4% for men and developing housing plots.
To improve infrastructure, BJP promised to introduce MANOHAR PARRIRAR Kalyan funds, which will provide shared development funds to RS 3 Crore for each Pancrayat and up to RS 5 Crore for each city.
BJP also promised to double the number of arrival of annual tourists in the state in the next five years by utilizing inland tourism potential, medical tourism and promoting spiritual heritage and tourism, while adding infrastructure currently around tourism adventure and tourism.
“We will introduce a homestay scheme that will provide RS 5 Lakh Flower loans and training for local residents of Goa who want to provide homestay facilities.
We will make Goa Meetings, Conventions, and Asian Hubs (Mice), increasingly increasing the tourism sector,” said BJP Manifesto.
The party also promised to encourage cave to a growth trajectory that would enable the state to become a $ 50 billion economy in the next 10 years.
“We will build environmentally friendly transportation infrastructure in the world for Goa.
We will reduce the end of the end time to tip to less than an hour by utilizing the country’s inland waterways for passenger transportation and cargo,” Manifesto said.
BJP also promised to build a new international football stadium and a football academy with a world-famous coach in the state and hosted the FIFA U-20 World Cup in the coming years.
Overall, BJP has received 10,000 suggestions for preparation for Manifesto, where 8,500 advice is accepted via SMS.
“We will be able to fulfill the former Minister of Manohar Minister of Parragar ‘Golden Goa’ through this Manifesto,” said State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade.
The head of the Minister of Pramod Sawant said BJP had met 80% of the guarantee given to the previous manifesto.
He said BJP would try to provide alternative fuel sources so there was no need to reduce prices on gasoline and diesel, or even use it.
Sawant also challenged the former Chief of the Congress Minister drawn for Kamat to submit a report card from the guarantee given at Congress’ Manifesto in 2007.
“We will complete Sankalp Patra and submit the same report card to people,” Sawant said.
Gadkari said Manifesto promised to make neutral carbon caves.
“It is important to make cave free from water, air, and sound pollution,” he said.
Reacting to the promise of Congress to cover gasoline and diesel prices at Rs 80, Gadkari said, “Congress tried to mislead people like in the coming days, all vehicles will be on the Flex machine and they can use ethanol, which is around Rs 62 per liter, And Congress does not need to instill gasoline at Rs 80.
“Gadkari said the BJP Manifesto target doubled the number of tourists visiting Goa, which would provide work to everyone.
“Everyone will have their own home and American standard road infrastructure,” Gadkari said.
