Bengaluru: The University of Bangalore (BU) on Tuesday decided not to allow student organizations to affiliated with political parties to enjoy any activities on the campus.
The decision was taken after the clash on Monday between two groups of students, one of which owed loyalty to Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), which was supported by BJP.
Clashes produce police lathicharge on campus.
“We don’t want student clothes that are politically supported on our campus.
If students have problems, we are here to solve it.
Why do we need them to damage peace on campus? Students at the level of grassroots in the end at the end of the recipient in this clash,” said Venugopal Kr, Deputy Chancellor, Mrs.
On Tuesday, both parties – ABVP and university unions – protested on campus.
While ABVP members raised the problem of delaying sign cards in front of the administrative building, representatives of Chancellor met with them and said the problem would be completed within 15 days.
He also met Premashe A, students who were injured on Monday.
