Mumbai: Special Court recently rejected pleasure plea from a 48-year-old bank auditor, caught almost two years back in the case of the PMC bank scam.
HDIL was accused of not paying a loan of Rs 4,335 Crore.
The court said the fact that the defendant was a woman could not be the only reason to guarantee.
Anita Kirdat said was an expert in carrying out an audit and he was expected to submit a fair report that showed the financial condition of the bank and showed the connection of the loan amount.
“Relying on audit reports, the bank’s financial status is determined, but the applicant deliberately ignores the large amount of loan from the HDIL company Advancing loans, “said the court.
It is said that his behavior shows its active involvement in evil.
“Great public money is involved.
The nature of violations must be considered.
Considering the role of the applicant in the crime commission, the applicant is not entitled to guarantee,” said the court.
Advocate Kirdat said he was not involved.
It was said that the investigation ended and there was no direct evidence found on it.
