Hyderabad: Speculation on limits at the height of the Ganesh idol, in Hyderabad, is now dismissed.
Minister of Telangana for Animal Husbandry, Srinivas Yadav, clearly said, “this year, the state government will not impose high restrictions to install idol ganesh.” Minister, while speaking at a review meeting held with more than 150 officials from various government departments including police, income, GHMC, HMWS & SB, TSSPDCL, R & B and the Ministry of Health on Saturday, in the MCRHRD meeting hall, “Calls Pandal Ganesh Must set the Ganesh idol according to their convenience.
If the committee faces a problem, they can approach the minister or official concerned.
“The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi will begin on September 10 and ‘Shobha Yatra’ (Ganesh Soaking Procession) will be held on September 19, he said.
“Pandal worshipers and organizers must follow the Covid-19 Pandemic ‘Standard Operation Procedure’ (SOP), while visiting a Pandal at 10 Days of Ganesh Festival,” The Minister made a request.
The Minister also directed the GHMC and Irrigation Department officials to prepare Sagar Hussain and other water bodies in Saroornagar, the Bund Mini tank in Safilguda, and Mir-Alum, to ensure the soaking of Ganesh, in a peaceful way.
The Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) must prepare arrangements to distribute Ganesh’s clay idol to worshipers, to promote environmentally friendly Ganeshas, this year, said Talamani.
