There is no Indian needs for fear of any religious group: RSS head

Mumbai: No need for Indians to be afraid of any similar religious groups, asserting RSS Mohan Bhagwat’s head on Monday.
“People keep talking about the Hindu-Muslim union.
What is there to be discussed when both are united? The only difference is in their identity.
Muslims have lived here for centuries and they cannot be thrown into the sea,” he said At a conference organized by Pune-based global strategic policy foundations on communal ‘national integration and harmony’.
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and LT General (RETD) ATA Hasnain also participated in the conference.
Repeating his statement that DNA of all Indians was the same, Bhagwat said the ancestors of Hindus and Muslims had tied them together.
“England plays the game divides and rules them and tells Muslims that in democracy, the number of problems and that Muslims will be marginalized,” he said.
“Muslims are not marginalized.
They have occupied different posts and can go anywhere in this country.” He added that Britain also played Hinduism, by telling them that they were numbers high and had to confirm it.
He clarified that the Sangh supported political parties working for India.
“We have not promised our support for one party.
We support those who work to strengthen the nation,” he said.
There are a large number of Muslims among the audience, including more than two dozen of Kashmir.
Relating to the question “Who is a Hindu?”, Sangh’s head said Sanatan was not Hinduism but the way of life and everyone who lived in and loved India was a Hindu.
