Ahmedabad: In his offer to reduce mandated masks well from Rs 1,000 to RS 500, the state government on Friday did not get assistance from the Gujarat High Court.
The court is reluctant to provide such relaxation and it is said that at least 50% of the population must be vaccinated first.
During the hearing of Suo Motu Pil in Covid-19, Advocate General Kamal Trivedi asked the court to allow the government to reduce a good amount with great feelings.

The judges asked who had objections to this.
Government advisors replied that people from lower strata and in rural pockets felt a high number and there was a request for this.
For this, Judge Trivedi quickly said, “Let them use masks …
there must be some prevention is fine.
People will remain in discipline.
Leave 50% of the population get vaccinated.
This is the only weapon.
You (the government ) Can give up on popular demand, the court cannot.

He told General Advocates that a good amount of not wearing masks outside India ranged from Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000.
“We can relax the rules after a large number of people are vaccinated,” he said.
Senior Advocate Percy Kavina, representing the Advocacy Association of the Gujarat High Court, supports government demand and submits that alright will have a deterrent effect and insist that some relaxation is needed.
In its submission that the implementation of the rules caused more complications, the judges said that there was a CCTV camera installed in most places and it was easy to ascertain whether the police had the right to force a penalty to be lost.
The judges also commented that the police could not control the crowd and implement social blasphemy norms.
The High Court asked the government to attract its application with permission to approach the court about this problem at the right time.
