Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC K Sudhakaran President has denied reporting that a list of new presidents of the District Congress Committee submitted by him to AICC has leaked through social media.
He said all such reports were unfounded, and the list was still under consideration of high party orders.
The list filed by the President of the KPCC has reached controversy since the dominant groups in the party accused that their nomination had been absent from the list.
Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala’s leading group leaders have approached the party’s command allege that they have not consulted while preparing a list of new presidents.
The two group leaders and their group managers were worried that Sudhakaran and opposition leader V d Sathean putting aside them when the new list was submitted to a high party order.
However, Sudharanan firmly on the list he has sent and explained to the High Command Party that this year the group leaders are completing a list without the right consultation at the party.
But this time, it is clear that no group affiliation will be considered when determining a new president.
However, Chandy and Chennithala have the view that this new list displays the names of leaders who are nominations of Sudhkaran, Sathean and Secretary General of AICC K C C Venugopal.
These two leaders are afraid that they will lose their grip at the party if the party’s order set a list delivered by the KPCC President, who has Sathean and Venugopal support.
Sudhakanan has also urged the party’s high command that tight action must be taken against leaders who have worked against the official candidate party in the recent election of the Assembly.
Some party candidates and even the constituents alleged that certain congressional leaders in the election they had worked against them in elections to ensure their defeat.
