There is no new 3rd wave warning from Niti Aayog: Maha Min

Aurangabad: Maharashtra Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope said on Monday that the National Institution to transform India (Niti) Aayog had not issued a fresh warning about the third wave of Covid and the latest reports that sound alarms were based on the correspondence carried out by the panel in June.
“The state has not received a fresh warning from Niti Aayog at this time.
Therefore, no need to panic.
The state is already preparing to overcome the third wave by adopting all steps,” he told the media in Jalna.
On requests from certain quarters about opening the Institute of Education and Places of Worship, Tope said the necessary policy decisions will be taken at the right time.
“We keep a watch close to the pandemic situation considering the third wave prediction that is possible after September.
In such a scenario, we must avoid crowding,” he said.
In some cases people who experienced Covid infection despite being fully vaccinated, the Minister of Health said vaccination alone could not offer a shield against infection.
“Along with vaccination, we must ensure that the appropriate behavior of Covid is maintained,” he said handling functions in Aurangabad on Monday night, the Minister of Health Maharashtra said the state government made efforts to recruit greater labor in the Ministry of Health.
