There is no NY celebration in public places today in Madurai

Madurai: City and District Police on Wednesday issued guidelines and tight meetings in public places for new year celebrations as of December 31 and January 1.

In the other South Tamil Nadu District, similar guidelines have been issued by various local police authorities.
In districts such as Ramanathapuram and Tuticorin, the meeting on the beach has also been banned.
