Mumbai: Mumbai police on Thursday issued a notice that GanPati ‘Mukh Darshan’ or a direct visit to Darshan during GaneshotAV will be banned between 10 and 19 September.
The notification was signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, and police spokesman Mumbai S Chaitanya.
This will apply in the jurisdiction of Mumbai police coming.
“More than five people will be banned from gathering in public places between 10 and 19 September.
There are no procession that is permitted.
Violations of this order will invite action based on part 188 of the ‘other notification words,” other notice said.
The home department has issued instructions, in a separate order on September 8, which is only Darshan Online or Darshan by means of electronic media will be permitted.
