There is no police nod, NMC backwards, but the Mayor’s event during Covid

Nagpur: The Mayor of Dayashankar Tiwari has decided to continue his plan to arrange the event on Sunday on behalf of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) even when the city police seek cancellation of citizenship programs and administration also does not support it.

Tiwari said, “The event was being held to mark the anniversary of the 125th birth from Bose Subhashchandra Netaji and the 75th year of Indian independence.

There are plans to install 20 canvas in such a way So even artists will follow all the guidelines.

OCW Director KMP Singh said, “It is completely wrong information that OCW sponsors the event.
Nobody approaches us for sponsors,” he said.
Tiwari said the NMC administration has regulated funds for this program.
The draft revision agreement signed between NMC, NESL and OCW are waiting with the general body.
The revised agreement is for the implementation of the OTS approved for OCW.
OTS, OCW is likely to benefit from the RS374 Crore, according to the document obtained based on the RTI Act and in accordance with the charges of the corporation.
