Hyderabad: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy blames the current coal supply crisis center in the state and accuses that it is a tactic by the center to submit power plants and distribution to private electricity companies by creating artificial scarcity.
However, he said there was no scarcity for coal for power plants in Telangana and there would be no power outages.
“There will be no one-minute power outage in Telangana because of the short supply of coal in this country.
The state has coal reserves to meet power plants, power plants for the next 200 years and all thermal power units have run in the state without problems.

He said the electric circuit was provided around Hyderabad to get supplies from any part of the state.
“Even Hydel power plants are continued,” he said.
Attacking the BJP government in the middle, mainly referring to new electricity bills brought by the center a few months ago, Jagadish Reddy said the center owed people about the crisis of power throughout the country.
He said the BJP government penetrated the power of the state on the problem related to power, which eventually led to the crisis in the electricity sector.
