Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Thursday directed the state government to issue instructions needed to its official engine to prevent public meetings during the next Christmas Festival and Sankranti next year.
The head of Judge Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice N Tukaramji heard batch of public interest petitions in Covid-19.
The bench also directs the country to develop a mechanism to inspect people, especially at the airport, coming to Telangana from other states.
Driving home a warning note that the latest omicron variant spread quickly, the bench directed the state to strictly follow the instructions provided by the Central Health Ministry on December 21 2021 to capture the latest deployment of variants.
