New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia accused Tuesday that the central government had not asked the Delhi government whether there was death due to lack of oxygen in the capital.
He said the state government instead decided to send a complete information center in the form of a report on death caused by the scarcity of oxygen at the peak of Covid-19 cases recently.
“People at the hospital are dying because of lack of oxygen.
The Supreme Court seriously questioned the central government about this, but it still was not sensitive to those who died this way,” Sisodia said on a digital press direction Tuesday.
Sisodia said that according to news reports, the central government instructed the state government to notify the number of deaths from oxygen seizure.
Apparently, 13 countries responded, which were only one country delivered by numbers related to death, while the remaining 12 claimed there was no such death under their jurisdiction.
“A few days ago, I have read that the center has provided America until August 13 to submit information about the deaths caused by oxygen scarcity.
But until now, the Delhi government has not received communication about this,” Deputy CM claims.
“The central government deploys lies that countries do not provide information, but in reality do not request information from countries.” Sisodia said that the Delhi government had formed an investigation committee to audit the death of oxygen, but the panel was rejected by the Governor of Lieutenant.
“This is proof that the center does not ask for details or let the state work,” he thought.
“Without an investigation, it is difficult to say there is no death due to lack of oxygen in Delhi.” Delhi President BJP Adesh Gupta against that Sisodia’s statement reflects the insensitivity of the state and should be written to the center if it has knowledge of the death of oxygen deficiency.
Gupta asserted, “The truth is that the Kejriawi government does not want to recognize the death of oxygen deficiency in Delhi because of its failure to provide oxygen then will be exposed.”
