Mumbai: Vaccination Covid-19 will remain suspended in Civic and government centers in Mumbai for the following four days after the celebration season, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday.
The Civic body in a statement also appealed to residents to work with him.
Vaccination drives will remain suspended in Civic and Run-Run centers from November 4 to 7, he said.
BMC has sufficient vaccine stock, so the inoculation drive will continue from Monday, he said.
According to BMC data, a total of 1,42,62,513 vaccine doses against Covid-19 are managed in Mumbai until Tuesday.
So far, 53,63,755 residents have received a vaccine dose.
On Tuesday, Mumbai reported 228 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths, took infection calculations to 7,56,442 and tolls to 16,254, said a previous citizenship official.
It was the second day in a row when the Metropolis recorded less than 300 new cases.
BMC data shows the doubling time of the city case is 1,596 days as on Tuesday and the average growth rate between October 26 and November 1 reached 0.04 percent.
It also revealed that the Metropolis had 28 closed buildings, while there was no detention zone since mid-August.
