Nagpur: Covid-19 vaccination has not occurred in Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) centers who manage free covishield doses on 12 of the last 18 days since the commencement of inoculation for those aged 18-44 years.
Vaccination will be continued in the city on Sunday after being affected for three consecutive days.
This will be reported again hit again on Mondays and Tuesdays.
NMC cannot vaccinate in 138 of 140 covishield centers on Saturday due to lack of dosage.
The state government has continued vaccination for those aged 18-44 years on June 23.
Since then, the demand for inoculation in the Civic body-free centers has improved manifold.
The last session was carried out on July 7 where the highest 36,584 vaccination was registered.
A total of 33,470 people took JAB in NMC centers while 3,114 took it in private centers.
The highest inoculation of 26,901 is also registered in rural areas on the same day taking total districts for a record of 63,485.
On Saturday, the vaccination rate was 4,969 of which 1,571 took Jab in NMC and 3,398 in 11 private centers.
The Civic’s body carries inoculation in two covishield centers dedicated to the Indian Air Force and central prison inmates.
Vaccination continues in five covaxin centers.
In accordance with the data of the Ministry of Health of the State Public (PhD), the district received 70,000 covishield doses on Saturday.
NMC received 41,500 while 28,500 the rest went to Zilla Parishad (ZP).
Quantum Dosage received on Saturday is less than the last stock (77,600), which arrived on June 6.
Although there is a request of 3.5 lakh doses in a day followed by the same number every week, the district receives 40,600 doses on June 24, 24,000 on June 26 45,100 on July 2 and 77,600 at 6.
Thus, the district gets 2.57,300 doses in The last three days.
The district also received 4,000 doses of Covaxin on Saturday.
NMC officials told TII, “Vaccination has not occurred in the last three days.

Of the population estimates of 52,72,665, the state PhD has set 23,41,591 in the age group of 18-44 years in the district.
As on Saturday, the first dose was only 3.33,803 (14.25%) it was over.
From the estimated population of 15.81,800 in the age group 45-plus, 8,80,975 took Jab.
A total of 2,01,949 health workers (HCWS) and FLWS workers also took the first dose of the majority considered in the 45-added age group.
Therefore, Guardian Minister Nitin Raut has raised the request of 3.5 lakh doses in a day followed by the same amount every week.
