Dubai: The former Indian Pacer Irfan Pathhan felt there could not be a bigger X factor than Fast Bowler Jasprit Bumrah on the Indian team bowling team for the T20 World Cup.
Irfan Pathhan agreed that the ‘mysterious’ spinner Varun Chakravarthy was on the top form but supported by BMrah to direct the Indian bowling at an exhibition.
“When we talk about Varun Chakravarthy, it is clear that he will do it very well because he has a mystery and is also at the top,” said Irfan at the Star Sports Show, follow the Blues.
“But in my opinion in terms of bowling, there is only one factor x and it is bumrah.
There may be no factor of X which is greater than the bumrah on any other team,” he added.
Meanwhile, the former Indian captain MS Dhoni has joined a man who is blue when Virat Kohli and boys have started their preparation for the exhibition.
India will start the T20 World Cup campaign on October 24 against Pakistan.
Before that, the party would play two matching matches against England and Australia on Monday and Wednesday.
On November 10, it will drop to only four teams, with the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi playing the host to the first semifinals, while the Dubai Cricket International Stadium became the second host on November 14.
