‘There is no weakness in enforcing a ban on liquor to be tolerated’

Patna: Facing opposition attacks on HOOCH’s recent deaths because of the consumption of illegal liquor in the Home Nalanda district, Bihar CM Nith Kumar on Monday asked senior bureaucrats to ensure there were no weaknesses in enforcing strict liquor prohibitions throughout the country.
While leading a high-level meeting to review the total enforcement of ‘Lok Samvad’ residence cm, he asked for a ban, excise & registration department and the police to destroy all the gang of liquor mafia and also ensured it was none of the actual traders of the forbidden liquor Can be saved.

CM then requested officials to maintain special obligations for enforcement of liquor prohibitions in the state capital.

“Previous assessments revealed that more than 1.64 crore people had left drinking liquor since the enforcement of prohibitions in April 2016 in the country,” CM said and asked officials to conduct a new assessment to determine the increase in the number of people who disposed of liquor.
He asked senior police officers to ensure sustainable monitoring of actions taken by the police station in terms of enforcement of prohibitions and took the heaviest and rigorous action against government officials and employees found involved in making mistakes in a ban on liquor.
Furthermore Nitish said, “Every believer consumes alcohol is a bad thing.
People from many other countries want enforcement of liquor prohibitions in their respective countries.
In Bihar, the total prohibition is being forced.

“CM also said that Bihar had greatly benefited because of the ban on liquor.
“Milk consumption, fruits, vegetables and sweets have increased,” he said.
Prohibition of State, Excise and Registration Minister Sunil Kumar, Head of Secretary Amir Subhani, Advocate General Lalit Kishore, DGP SWhal SK, Chief Extra Secretary of Chaitanya Prasad, Secretary of the Additional Chief (Prohibition) of Amrit, Inspector General (Prohibition) of Raj, Special Secretary (Home) Vaibhav Vaibhav and many other officers were present at a review meeting.
