Gurgaon: Progress in the Rapid Rail Transit Corridor project in the NCR and Haryana regions took a more different path.
While the line from Sarai Kale Khan Kale National to Meerut has seen significant progress and guava for track being installed on a priority stretch in Ghaziabad, Little has moved along the Delhi-Gurgaon-Rajasthan corridor (Alwar).
National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), which drives the project, has written many letters to the City Department and state planning Haryana (DTCP) in the past six months, looking for Details of CLU (changes in land use) in Green.
The belt area on the proposed route passes through Gurgaon but has not received a response.
Of the total route of 107km, around 84km was in Haryana.
In fact, the government Haryana has agreed to a detailed project report (DPR) from the project and RRTS alignment along the Delhi-Jaipur highway.
The details of the CLU were needed for land from Kherhi Daula to Manesar against Jaipur and from Sehrawan to Boda Kalam Village in Rowari on the highway.
Delays in sharing detail can delay the project, now in the pre-construction phase, officials said.
In the latest letter to DTCP, the Coordinator of the NCRTC KC Sharma project expressed a displeasure that said the corporation “felt very strange that despite releasing various reminders, the information needed was still awaited”.
NCRTC is looking for details of the CLU permit so that it can take land problems for Viaduct RRTS with the Haryana government for project development.
“We have repeatedly asked DTCP to share Clu details along the NH-48 green belt,” Sharma told Toi.
The Urban Delhi-Gurgaon-SNB complex is 107km (Shahjahanpur-neemrana-behror) corridor, which is part of the line of RRT Delhi-Alwar, will start from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi and end in Shahjahanpur from Rajasthan.
In Gurgaon, the route will start from Old Delhi-Gurgaon Road and touch NH-48 in the signature tower through Atul Kataria Chowk.
The route will be elevated until the Kherki Daula in Gurgaon but will go underground from Kheri Daula and will appear on the ground on Imt Manesar.
Before entering Behror in Rajasthan, the line will be built along Delhi-Jaipur Expressway and go through Dhiparera, REWARI and BAGAL.
When contacted, Sanjeev Mann, Town Gurgaon’s senior planner, said, “We have directed the district city planner to compile the Details of CLU and share it with the earliest NCRTC.
We coordinate with agency and detail will be distributed earlier.” Depot RRTs on Delhi-Gurgaon’s corridor -Rajasthan should appear in dhiparera.
NCRTC has identified around 78 hectares of land and asks HSVP to submit it for its constructibility.
HSVP is in the process of submitting around 36 hectares of land for the project.
Talking about the status of work in Delhi-Gurgaon-Alwar corridor, NCRTC officials said this project is currently in the pre-construction phase.
“We are currently doing all pre-construction work such as utility shifts, including water pipes and electric pathways.
This will help us become ready to start civil works immediately after the entry agreement,” said an NCRTC official.
Floating Tenders for Pre-Construction Project work began in 2018, after which geo-technical investigation was carried out.
This corridor is planned to be built in about five years, not including a year of pre-construction activities funded by the Government Government (20%), the state government in question (20%) and other institutions (60%).
