There was no Covid death within the Nashik Corporation for a week

Nashik: Nashik City has not reported one death because Covid in the last seven days since August 18 and August 26, in further indications of the increasing situation of the pandemic.
Like the city of Nashik, several districts in the state have not reported one death for more than a month.
Nandurbar, Dhule, Bhandara District, which is smaller and inhabited, has reported a handful of new cases and no death this month.
Covid fatality decreased significantly in the city of Nashik this month compared to July, when the city reported two covid deaths per day on average.
So far, in August, the city reported 20 deaths due to 61 deaths reported in July.
Officials from Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) said that there had been a significant decline in the new daily case of Covid-19 in the city and the majority of cases were mild.
“Corenavirus infectivity has diminished and infection becomes light.
This is the reason that the cases dropped mostly.
In addition, the number of critical patients also decreased,” said an NMC official.
Officials said that they had not reduced the number of Covid tests even though the number of cases had declined.
This has helped in early detection of patients and on time, to reduce criticality between patients, NMC officials said.
During the first wave of pandemic last year, the city reported a maximum of 867 per day in September.
After that, there was a steady decline in a new case starting in October.
In the first week of February this year, the city reported 99 cases per day on average.
Officials said that the situation changed dramatically from the second week of February, when the city, like another part of the country, saw a covid case increase.
Covid-19 Daily Case continues to increase in March and April this year.
The city reported 1,082 cases per day on average in March and 2,651 cases per day on average in April this year.
Cases returned to reduce from May.
Nashik is among cities that are very devastated in the state.
In July, the city reported a total of 55 Covid cases per day on average.
But new daily cases have dropped to 37 cases in August so far.
