Ranchi: Contrary to concern, Covid-19 cases in Jharkhand has not yet recorded a sharp surge after Diwali and Chhath celebrations, statistics are available with the Ministry of Health and the welfare of the country’s family.
On Saturday, almost 10 days since the completion of the Chhath celebration, the state reported 13 new infections and had 130 active cases in 24 districts.
On November 10, Jharkhand had 150 active cases and reported 15 new infections.
The chart of infection after Chhat is similar to it during Diwali (November 4), when there are 127 active cases.
Data departments have shown an increase in new infections immediately after Dussehra, when 197 new infections were reported between October 18 and October 24.
Post-dussehra, the case began to drop.
While 137 new infections were reported between 25 and 31 October, 118 new cases were documented between November 1 and 7.
While the Jharkhand weekly peposititivity rate was 0.7% in the week which was followed after Durga Puja, fell to 0.04% for 0.04% During Diwali.
Doctors and experts, who have tracked Covid graphics since the pandemic struck Jharkhand in March last year, has linked a positive and low level of death rate to several factors.
