Last month it was reported that Apple employees have conducted an internal survey of returning to the office, the Hybrid work model and paying equity.
A report by the threshold said that Apple forbade employees to do several internal surveys.
The report said that the main problem was with a survey related to paying equality within the company.
Apple employees have spoiled a survey where he asked employees for “volunteer salary information in addition to how they identified in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, and disability.” However, the Apple HR team asked employees to take surveys because certain questions did not meet the norm.
The report said that last week Apple lowered another survey on the equity to pay because it had questions about gender.
The employee then removes gender questions but the Apple HR team turns it off because “hosted in the company’s company box account.” According to the report, Apple told employees that surveys would be banned in all cases if they were used for data collection.
“Surveys are not allowed to be used as a means of collecting employee data that can be identified without following the usual processes to get this data from the people’s team.
This includes questions about address, demographic, and so on, except for giving countries or regions, which are permitted,” said the team Apple people to employees.
Apart from this each internal survey that collects health information – including vaccination status – Apple has also been banned.
In addition, any survey requests for diversity data has also been included in the gray area.
Apple told employees that if they need information about diversity data, you must contact the relevant team before collecting it.
