These Girls helped cremate a Covid Sufferer

Thiruvananthapuram: Three girls in Attingal are getting plaudits after devoting to cremate the body of an Covid-19 sufferer –Madhavan Nair (74), a retired government worker —- on Sunday.
The girls are Keerthi Mohan and Karthika AK, ” a specialized school and clerk at the MSME Skill Development Technology Process and Product Development Centre, Akhila Babu, a JDC pupil and Sandra Muralia journalism student.
“They had advised us that they were prepared to involve from the cremation procedure for Covid sufferers, which is generally done by guys.
They’ve been a part of Covid-related voluntary actions in the area.
As they had been shown to be convinced about performing the cremation, we advised them concerning the cremation of Madhavan Nair,” stated Pradeep, former chairman of Attingal municipality.
Volunteers from the area was providing meals to Nair who was remaining lonely following the departure of his spouse and daughter.
His only child is operating overseas.
On the afternoon of his passing, the volunteers discovered that the lunch retained outside his home wasn’t shot in.
They felt something wrong and broke open the door and found him dead.
Recognizing the Nair’s body has been taken to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, the girls went in an ambulance and got it following autopsy and other processes.
Then they cremated the deadly remains in a gasoline crematorium setup on the assumptions of the home at Attingal.
“we’ve been looking for some time why girls shouldn’t be engaged in cremation.
It had been our collective choice to take the job,” explained Karthika.
Each of the four had obtained Covid jabs and all these are moms also.
Following the continued, they remained away in their kids.
“We can do the Covid evaluation following a week, until then we’ll stay isolated,” explained Akhila.
“There is a stigma…

Therefore, we believed we ought to really be an inspiration ,” she added.
Although many tried to dissuade themit didn’t dissuade them.
Following the cremation, Sandra, a last year journalism student, declared her volunteering work in a first-line treatment center (CFLTC).
“I’m so pleased to look after these Covid patients.
In between this, I find the time to attend my internet courses.
I have not gone home following the cremation.
Now I’m staying at a hostel organized for its volunteers,” she explained.
The girls are all members of this DYFI.
