Letter: A 50-year-old man accused of stealing electronic goods worth Rs 12,000 in 1995 was running out of luck after 26 years when the city crime branch the letter added to his home village in the Bhavnagar district on Saturday.

Patel used to work for Manji Patel in August 1995, which runs video rental services.
When Patel was asked to send electronics to the rental client, he disappeared with valuables.
He sold goods and returned to his home village Virddi.
When the police reached his village, Patel fled from the village.
This happened several times.
When the police continued to look for Patel in Virdi for 3-4 years, he decided to stay away from his family and start living as a monk.
He began to wear turmeric clothes.
