New Delhi: Star Shuttler PV Sindhu while interacting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated his future plans regarding the opening of sports and academy schools in Visakhapatnam.
This happened on Monday when the Tokyo Indian Olympic contingent had gone to 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, the official residence of PM Modi for breakfast with him.
“I thought of opening an Academy and Sports School in Vizag (Visakhapatnam) but I played now so after that with the support of my father, he would see the academy side,” he said.
PV Sindhu shared the entire conversation with PM Modi on Twitter and wrote: “It will always be a very special interaction with Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji for me.
Because I was overwhelmed with support, I enjoyed discussing how I could also support badminton in India With him, along with a team of extraordinary people.
“Previously on Friday, Sindhu had stated his ambition to open the academy.
“I will start the training academy in Visakhapatnam immediately for young people, with the support of the state government.
Many young people left behind in sports because they did not have the right encouragement,” said Sindhu after offering prayers at Tirumala Temple in Andhra Pradesh.
During the interaction on Monday, PM Modi also asked South Korean coach PV Sindhu, Park Tae-sang, if he knew anything about ayodhya.
“There is a special relationship between Korea and Ayodhya.
The last time, the first woman, your wife’s wife, came to attend the function on Ayodhya.
You must visit Ayodhya and you have to know the history of Ayodhya.
You will be proud.” Ayodhya and Korea have a deep historical relationship through the legendary daughter of Suriratna from Ayodhya, who traveled to Korea at 48 CE and married King Suro Korea, according to the previous PIB statement.
South Korean’s first woman Kim-Jung Sook had attended an innovative ceremony from Queen Huh Memorial in Queen Huh Park in Ayodhya in November 2018.
