THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: first days following a 21-year older BTech student was dead because of Covid-19, his situation was missing from the official record being published by the health area.
APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University issued a media notice May 17, a primary time for the official figure, announcing that the passing of Sooraj Krishna.

Krishna expired at the Medical College Hospital (MCH) on May 16.
Official list reveals approximately 12 Covid-19 deaths from the district on May 16 plus it does not reveal death of any individual aged below 30.
Krishna’s mom Manjusha told TOI they had been informed in the MCH which Krishna had tested positive for Covid-19 which he had pneumonia.
“He had been changed from casualty into Covid ICU in the MCH.
He died on May 16 day,” explained Manjusha.
Manjusha said that the body was not passed over to the household.
“His mortal remains were taken into Santhikavadam according to Covid-19 routine,” she explained.
Based on her, Krishna had symptoms such as fever and cold on May 14 and if he first tested negative in rapid antigen test in a hospital, then they had been shipped home.
She stated that she had been oblivious of this confirmatory test that’s done in the event of symptomatic cases analyzing negative in preliminary evaluation.
Health department revised the instructions Covid-19 testing superseding all prior testing instructions from February 2021.
It stated that rapid antigen test will be conducted for many flu like illnesses (ILI) and in the event the antigen test result is negative, RT-PCR will probably be done on exactly the identical day (as soon as possible during the intervening interval ).
