Thiruvananthapuram: A fisherman woman on Tuesday complained of harassment by the employees of the Municipal Attingal who was ruled by LDF here who allegedly remove some of the fish, which he saved for sale on the road and brought the rest in their garbage truck.

In visual, which later became a viral on the social media platform, he could also be seen trying to stop those people not to throw fish and fell on the road.
He was then taken to the Taluk Hospital closest to the locals.
The woman, who filed a complaint with the police against the municipal staff, said thousands of fish rupees were destroyed by them.
“I have no source of other income.
My five-member family lived with the money I got from selling fish.
I did this job because I had no other way to live and take care of my family.
They have destroyed everything,” he said.
However, S Kumari, chairman of the municipality, rejected allegations of atrocities to fishermen women and said there were complaints from the local community to the sale of fish on the roadside.
Fish sales can be permitted only on the market and it has been delivered to him, the municipal source added.
Meanwhile, Attingal police said they received complaints by Fisherwoman and the action would be taken after verifying all aspects.
