Thiruvananthapuram: City Corporation and Clean Kerala Company Ltd can immediately enter into the settings to collect the remaining inheritance waste from the waste that cannot be recycled which currently does not have many takers.
The agreement will be executed for the collection of thermocols and rexin waste at Rs 10 per kg along with other types of waste such as leather, rubber sandals, bags, furniture, and plastic.
The Permanent Committee of corporate health has provided a nod to have two institutions on the zone-based collection system for plastic and skin waste transportation.

City Corporation will previously reflect on the co-processing of plastic waste that cannot be recycled and has tapped the possibility of exploring alternative fuel supplies in the cement industry.

The Civic Agency has completed a proposal to supply solid waste that can be converted into fuel derived from a decrease in cement, then, two cement manufacturing companies based in Tamil Nadu have expressed interest in the project.
