Thiruvananthapuram: City Corporation is set to improve a dry waste collection system and to utilize the zone-based zone bridge to ensure the amount of waste transported.
This step follows a recent example where the bill associated with waste collection is postponed after the request is raised regarding the amount of waste transported.
Two heavy bridges in two zones will be used to monitor the amount of dry waste transported.

The delay in cleaning bills coupled with the limitations related to pandemic causes a large number of garbage accumulates in the resource recovery center.
Even when the corporation triggered a pre-monsoon cleaning drive and drive to eradicate mosquitoes, a pile of garbage dumped in its own recovery centers into officials who were sick and corporations were on the right discovery solution for the right transportation.
With two companies that play around and other parties exclusively for a collection of dry waste, zone-based collection drives will continue in the city.
The Civic body has compiled a revenue model in previous years for dried waste collection and transportation.
However, very often the corporation ends up spending more than income in terms of regulating driving collection.
