Thiruvananthapuram: After the incident surprised death and violence in the household above Mahar, Pallayam Imam V P Suhaib Moulavi urged followers to unite against social crimes such as dowry.
In his Eid-ul-Zuha message, Suhaib Moulavi said that the land faced a challenge in the name of Mahar.

Moulavi appealed to believers and head of religious organizations to work together in combating Mahar.
“We have to advance against social crimes like that.
Let our youths take a promise that they will not accept dowry, let our parents take a promise that they will not give dowry and let our religious leaders decide that they will not promote or encourage dowry , “he said in his speech.
He emphasized the need for a united voice against Mahar.
“The stand that we take must be clear and sound in this problem.
Just so that it can also be removed from our society.
We must do this, because we must build land rooted in new thoughts and Renaissance,” he said.
