Thiruvananthapuram: APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) is ready to announce the results of the third collection of engineering students.
Varsitas most likely to announce the results of Btech in the first week of August.
From the beginning, KTU had adhered to the academic schedule without failing because it was declared the result of the first two students in four years.
About 25,000 students have emerged for the final semester exam, which is concluded in the second week of July and the tabulation works at the end of the university is currently in the last phase.
Considering the pandemic situation, the university has conducted the final semester exam online for the past two years.
“We cannot risk in the case of the final semester students who have received campus placements or plan to join other institutions for higher studies.
That’s why KTU conducted an online check for the final semester students,” said University Pro Vice-Chancellor S ayoob.
Meanwhile, the University’s authority hopes that the trend of acceptance of engineering in the state will continue to disperse national trends.
After a steady downward trend for several years, the entrance ticket technique in this country has witnessed the trend of the increase over the past few years.
But still, more than 40% of BTECH seats in college engineering in the state remain empty.
There are around 47,000 BTech seats in college techniques affiliated with KTU.
The acceptance trend shows that more students tend to join hybrid engineering courses that combine traditional technical courses with new era technology such as artificial intelligence and engine learning.
The highest number of empty seats is in traditional branches such as civil engineering, engineering machinery, electronics and communication techniques, etc.
