Thiruvananthapuram: ‘There are no changes in the technical exam schedule’

Thiruvananthapuram: APJ Technology University Abdul Kalam has once again rejected a call to cancel the ongoing technical exam done in offline mode.
Deputy University of Chancellor M S Rajasree said on Monday, the exam that began on July 9, will continue to be held offline as in the case of other universities in the state.
Students have been given options to appear for tests in college near their place of origin, and it has also been clarified that those who failed to appear for exams because the problem related to Covid-19 will be given another opportunity.
Additional opportunities given to students will be considered as the first opportunity, he said.
In addition, the exam was conducted to comply with the Covid-19 protocol, he said.
Clarification comes after Aicte sends communication to universities, increasing concerns over the safety of students in the pandemic era, especially because they remain not vaccinated.
Aicte communication was sent to the University after MP Congress Kodikkunnil Suresh had written a letter to the Workers Government, looking for his direction of the exam that conducted conventional fleas on thick pandemic.
The university authority said that Aicte only distributed its concerns that had been overcome by the university in a student-friendly and effective way.
