The Chinese Display Manufacturer of BOE was reportedly following LG as an OLED supplier to Apple.
According to a report by Theenc, the company increases its production to produce an OLED panel flexible smartphone for Apple.
Until now, the company B7 and B11 companies located in Sichuan Province in China produce OLED panels for Apple and now the CEO of Analyst Company UBI research claims that other factories companies will also make OLED panels for Apple.
At present, Samsung is Apple’s largest OLED supplier followed by LG.
According to the report, Apple is expected to send 240 million iPhone OLED units in 2022 and the Samsung Display will aim to provide 150 million OLED panel units, the LG screen will aim for 70 million units of OLED and BOE display panels aim for 50 million million units of OLED panels .
This means that BOE can aim to overtake the LG display in shipping by 2023, the CEO of the analyst company added.
According to the previous report by Theenc, LG has begun to develop an OLED panel for an ipad apple model of 12.9 inches too.
Apple is preparing to launch two new iPad models with low-power OLED LPO views on 2023 or 2024 and LG is developing a panel for the device.
The next report said that Samsung is also expected to make an OLED panel for Apple devices after an agreement for an ipad air 10.8 inches into acid.
LG reportedly planned to use LTPO TFT technology to make panels, Apple first demanded for the same thing from Samsung.
The panel is expected to use the same gen 6 substrate used in the iPhone 13 Pro model that allows devices to boast a much wider range of refresh.
In accordance with various reports, Apple has left a plan to launch an OLED iPad in 2022.
