The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has signed the MoU with National Law University (NLU), University of the Legal Institute of Delhi and National (Nliu), Bhopal, to establish a Cyber Laboratory for ‘Online Capacity Development Program at Crime Investigation, and Digital Forensics’.
This new facility is intended to allow police officers, cyber cells, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors and judicial officers to obtain the skills needed to handle cyber forensic cases efficiently in accordance with the law of Indian cyber.
Negid, in collaboration with Nliu Bhopal has taken this initiative to offer 9 months of PG Diploma to 1000 officials through its learning management system (LMS).
This program allows students to experience anytime anywhere learning while traveling.
Participants will undergo a practical training session and personal contact program in the cyber lab appointed to be established at the Delhi National Law University (NULU) campus to facilitate this course.
The proposed cyber laboratory will be equipped with hybrid architecture that supports the mode of developing virtual and physical capacity in the field of cyber law, digital cybercrime and forensic investigations.
“Lab will have the capacity of the training room of 25 users and long distance connectivity each for 25 users, at certain times coupled with the AR / VR feature.
Other law schools / universities such as National Law School of India University (Bangalore), Rajiv Gandhi National University Of Law (Patiala), etc., will be based on the hub and talking model for future businesses, “according to the statement.
The National E-Governance Division (NEGD) will develop e-content based on support received from faculty members.
Nliu, Bhopal became the main academic partner for the course, will provide a PG Diploma certificate to the participants who successfully complete the course.
