Jammu: The State Union Minister for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and PMO, Jitendra Singh, on Sunday said the Modi-LED government provided a special boost to start agriculture.
While attending a 5-day regional agricultural exhibition cover ceremony for 5 days as a major guest at the herbalized skout.
Minister of the Union said, “This is a period of agricultural gold that occurred in India under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and technology intervention, and innovation in agriculture under his leadership will double the income of farmers in 2022.” Speaking on that occasion, Dr.
Singh said that PM Narendra Modi Serious on agricultural development in India that can be judged from the fact that two new ministries – Jal Shakti and Skills Development & Entrepreneurship – have been created only to promote agriculture and doubled income farmers in 2022.
“One of the important links is’ survey technology Heli-Borne for newly launched ground water management and to map groundwater resources in dry areas for drink and agriculture, “he said.
Singh said that agricultural and agricultural production has been revolutionized in India under the current government which is evident from various initiatives taken by the government for farmers’ welfare such as soil health cards, Urea coated near Neem, PM Fasal Bima Yojana, PM Kissan Samsan, e-nam, PM Kissan Maandhan Yojana not only empowers the agricultural sector financially & many have also given respect and respect for less previously farmers.
Calculating development initiatives taken at J & K Vis-à-Vis Agriculture & Innovation, Dr.
Singh said that the formation of the first North Indian biotechnology park, two high seed processing plants in Kathua, the launch of India’s first aroma mission will open Vistas new growth, opportunities and innovation in the field of agriculture in Jammu.
Speaking to the farmers who were present on that occasion, Dr.
Singh stressed that a farmer can now involve himself in various activities depending on his capacity, the resources to become integrated because they work in silos are over now.
He also stated that the government’s responsibility then facilitated farmers in all things that were being carried out without compromising by the current government.
Providing examples of entrepreneurs involved in various innovative & income agricultural practices in Lakh, Dr.
Singh emphasized students who were present there to become a job provider and not job seekers, became agricultural technocrats through start-ups & became an innovative Indian architect when agriculture in India was no longer traditional agriculture 19th century.
The Union Minister also urged the Skuask government to promote 75 start-up agriculture from this university at 75 years of Indian independence at its service line which also promoted start-up as 75 young people in science, 75 women start-ups in science, 75 sitting hubs dedicated for SCS and STS.
The Minister stressed on the integration of the Institute of High altitude, IIIM and SKUAST treatment that must work on theme-based projects instead of institutional-based projects for composite results and not overlapping.
The minister further said that proactive outreach to start-up is the requirement for hours to get the best mind to promote our products at the national and international levels into basmati rice, Rajmash or other products.
For product promotion and start-up, ministers emphasize the creation of broader media space accompanied by the latest technology & social media boom to promote local products and beginners.
During the address, the Minister emphasized on sustainable agricultural practices and organic agriculture promoted by the current government.
During his visit, the minister lay the foundation of the faculty club, Campus Chatha Utama and inaugurated a plant tissue culture laboratory in biotechnology school, Skuast, Jammu, Herbal Park (Sanjeevani Tapovan) & Tenemaja planting, as well as the Basmati Manufacturer inaugurated and the Animal Husbandry Convention.
The Minister also launched IDP project funded by Bank-ICOM during the closing ceremony.

Malhotra, Agricultural Commissioner, Indian Government, Dr.
RC Agggarwal, DDG (Education), Icar, New Delhi, Dinesh Kulkarni, Secretary of Organization, BKS, Professor Manoj K Dhar, VC, Jamu University, Reddy, Director of CSIR-IIIM Jammu also attended Cover ceremony.
