According to him, 123456 is still the most widely used password.

“Unfortunately, the password continues to be weaker and people still do not maintain the right password cleanliness,” said Jonas Karklys, CEO of Nordpass.

The company analyzes 50 countries.
43 of 50 of these countries have ‘123456’ as number one password.
In India, on the other hand, the ‘password’ is the most commonly used password.
It was used by 1,714,646 people in this country.
10 General passwords in India After ‘Password’ are 12345, 123456, 12345678, 123456789, India123, 1234567890, 1234567 and QWERTY.
Another general password used by people in India is “Iloveyou”, “Krishna”, “Sairam” and “ionairam”.
In India, 62 passwords from 200 can crack in less than one second.
Which turns out 31 percent of the total password.
This is lower compared to the global percentage of 84.5 percent.
The company has also developed a risk index, which sorts the country into three risk increases: low, average, and high.
The index has been designed according to the number of passwords that leaked per capita.
Regions such as Central and North America, Russia and Australia are marked in a high-risk level.
Most European countries are in the average risk category, while India is characterized by a low risk level.
