Apple has refreshed the iPad lineup with quite often in recent years.
In the past two years, we have seen two ipad 10.2 inches ‘regular’, two airpad and iPad airpad models are all new.
Now, it looks like the only thing left by the iPad – mini – set to get a splge.
According to Bloomberg, Apple is on track to launch the next iPad Mini this fall – something around September / October.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has mentioned this in his weekly bulletin.
Gurman suggested that this would be the biggest “redesign in the history of nine years” from the iPad Mini.
In addition to redesigning, iPad Mini is expected to be supported by a new processor too.
It was in 2019 when the last Apple launched the iPad Mini.
Mini iPad then gets support for the Apple pencil.
The upcoming iPad Mini can see a design similar to the iPad Air, which Apple launched in 2020.
Over the past two years, Apple has launched an iPad entry-level in September and if Gurman’s claim will be trusted this year can see the launch of the iPad All -New.
Tipster Jon Proser has last month signaling several changes that can come with the iPad Mini.
According to the Proser, touch ID will be removed from the Home button (which also bid adieu) and put it with the top button.
The device can be given a type-C USB port to make file transfers easier.
The Proser also implies that iPad Mini 2021 can come up with support for Apple 2 pencils or may even have a small pencil itself, according to the size of the tablet.
The colors that can be launched are black, gold and silver.
The upcoming iPad Mini is expected to come with an 8.4-inch screen and can be powered by the M1 chip.
