Thiruvananthapuram: After obtaining a record number of admissions to the academic year 2021-22, the educators of Vellanad Government LPS have been on cloud nine.
Of the 233 brand new entries, 153 were to Class I to Class IV and 80 to its pre-primary section.
For this, the college currently has a complete power of 528 students.
The teachers stated that 90 percent of the admissions to Classes II, III and IV have been out of unaided schools.
Success isn’t something brand new to this faculty.
In the past academic year that the faculty had bagged the award for its finest PTA –first place in the fifth and district in the country.
The school’s headmaster V Nageshkumar, a former pupil himself, is proud of the accomplishment.
