Google launched the third Android 12 beta a few weeks ago.
Relase notes for updates including features such as game mode, AppSearch, enhanced permits and more.
Apart from all the features listed in the third beta release record, it also includes one hidden feature that aims to make the sharing URL and the link easier for users.
According to the XDA developer report, this new feature allows users to instantly copy the website URL from the latest application screen (usually accessed by swiping from the Home screen).
This website also clarifies that these features are not only limited by the Google Web browser itself.
This is fully an operating system feature and will recognize the link from the browser or other third party applications with a web link.
The new Android 12 URL sharing feature automatically detects and extracts the web link that will appear on the latest application screen in the form of a new file sharing icon on the top right of the application window.
Tapping the sharing icon will show the URL full of options to copy or share it immediately.
Although it seems that the niche feature must be owned, it can come very useful while sharing any page with your friends or in the workspace.
Also much easier than the current process involving the URL selection to copy it and then share it through the application.
Android 12 Beta 3 now lives and is now available for download on certain devices.
However, before downloading it keeps in mind that this is a beta version and may have many bugs and problems.
