And this time, Lord Ganesha will protect his worshipers from Coronavirus too – in his pandal at Ellora Park.
To get extra strong Divine blessings, came to the pandal organized by Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal for Darshan and inoculation in the Covid Vaccination camp during Ganesha Chaturthi this year.
“The government has made efforts to vaccinate maximum people over the past few months.
So, we decided to arrange vaccination camps in our pandal Yuvak Mandal which was founded seven years ago.
“What a better place to get a covid vaccine rather than in the presence of divinity which is a remover of all obstacles and protectors.
We will urge worshipers, who have not taken Covid photos, to be vaccinated,” Shah Toi said.
The organizers have approached Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) to establish a nine-day camp in their pandal.
“We have received a positive response from VMC,” Shah added.
Vice President Mandal, Ashray Shah said that they would also arrange medical camps for three days in different slums to ensure that residents remained safe from dengue fever and other infections.
“The country faces great difficulties over the past 18 months because of Covid’s pandemic.
We are lucky to have obtained permission to celebrate the Ganesha festival this year so that we aim to ensure the safety of worshipers through our pandal,” Ashray added.
Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal will also facilitate soaking clay idols in an artificial tank near the pandal.
“Only those who have at least one dose of vaccine will be allowed to immerse the Ganesha idol in the tank,” Shah said.
