The Annual iPhone Photography Award (Ippawards) has been announced.
At this year’s award, the first photographer’s award from this year had been given to Sharan Shetty.
Shetty, who came from Pune, won the award for the picture titled Bonding.
The image of catching a man and his horse communicates in an empty landscape, offers each other comfort and soft words.
Thousands of photographers from all over the world handed over their permits.
While Sharan won the first prize, the Grand Prize winner and photographer of the year award went to a photo journalist from Hungary.
Ippawards were in the 14th year now and began in 2007 and had become commonplace.
Only to make it clear, Apple did not give this award.
In order to qualify for appreciation, photos should not be published before anywhere.
However, posting on a personal account (Facebook, Instagram etc.) qualifies.
Photos should not be changed in any desktop image processing program like Photoshop.
However, one can use iOS application for editing and processing images.
The use of any iPhone is permitted.
IPhone add-on lenses can be used.
In some cases, photographers can be asked about the original image just to verify that it was taken with an iPhone, iPad.
The category where photos can be submitted are: Abstract, Animals, Architecture, Children, Cityscape, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, People, Portraiture, Series (3 images), still alive, sunset, others.
This year the top-three winner in 17 additional categories is given to photographers from almost every corner of the world, including Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, China, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Israel, the Netherlands, Mexico, Russia, Saudi, Spanish, Sweden, England and United States of America.
