New Delhi: Everyone who lives and works in India must comply with the country’s rules, said the minister of information and technology that has just sworn in Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday.
Vaishnaw spoke to reporters after meeting with the BJP Secretary General (Organization) B L Santhosh at the party office here.
On the question that Twitter did not obey the rules, he said anyone’s life and works in India had to obey the country’s rules.
Vaishnaw, a member of Parliament from Odisha, on Wednesday vowed the Cabinet Minister and was given charges of trains along with the Ministry of Information and Technology.
He said it was grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving him responsibility.
He said the focus would improve the lives of the last person standing in the queue.
In the past, Vaishnaw, while speaking at Rajya Sabha, has increased the problem of resignation of Rashmi Samant based on Karnataka from the position of the President of the Oxford Union in England and described it as a serious racism case.
