Lucknow: BJP Naresh Agarwal leader on Friday directing controversy over SP head “Jinnah comment” Akhilesh Yadav, said the people who loved Jinnah had to leave India and “go to Pakistan”.
Speaking to reporters ahead of BJP supported by BJP ‘Vaishya Sammelan’, is scheduled to be held in Lucknow on November 14, he said the country belonged to the followers of “Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi) and Patel (Vallabh Bhai Patel)”.
He reacted to Akhilesh’s statement recently compared Pakistani pan Jinnah with Gandhi, Nehru and Patel.
Agarwal has maintained a low profile since 2018 when he joined BJP after being rejected tickets to Rajya Sabha by SP.

His son, Nitin Agarwal, who represented Hardoi voters, was recently relevated by BJP as a candidate for the position of representative of the speaker in the upper assembly, a step seen as a safron party effort to confuse the ranking of opposition, especially SP, which has reduced Senior Parliamentarians Narendra Singh Verma, a Kurmi.
BJP has traditionally been banking on the sound of the top caste, including Vaishya (trader community).
Agarwal said that BJP has organized conventions for various communities.
“Vaishya Sammelan is also part of the BJP campaign,” he said.
He claimed that there were no political parties who could oppose BJP who would get full support from the Vaishya community and win more than 300 seats.
Earlier on November 7, Agarwal had carried out a spicy attack on opposition parties in Hardoi, said that those who did not believe in Lord Rama and consider Jinnah when their leaders were taught to go to temples.
