Thousands of marches and dancing for LGBTQ rights in Berlin Parade

Berlin: About 35,000 people who rejoiced marched for the right of LGBTQ at the celebration of the Berlin Christopher Street on Saturday, twice as much expected.
Parade starts with a call from the Lederer Klaus, Senator Berlin for culture, to make the city a “ queer-freedom zone ” in response to deteriorating safety for gays and lesbians in Poland Hungary and neighbors.
‘LGBT-free zone’ ‘has been stated in several parts of Poland, while Hungary recently issued laws that prohibit the depiction of homosexuality or gender reassignment to underage children who have been criticized as discriminatory by human rights groups.
Lederer said the situation in two “ members sent shivering down.
“Senator also noted that the pandemic was very difficult for gay and lesbian at home when the shelter was closed.
He said “ there are still a lot of work to do.
“The parade organizers have expected around 20,000 people amid social distance rules and alcohol prohibitions to combat the risk of new Koronavirus infection.
There was no parade last year because of a pandemic so that many people took advantage of warm sunny weather and relatively low infection rates to take part in the last big meeting of Pride Berlin.
Nearby, the United States Embassy flies a rainbow flag under the American banner.
This parade is led by five trucks which are separate distance to provide more demonstrators because they dance the road to Techno beat through the iconic iconic Brandenburg gate.
The organizers make repeat calls to be spoken to put the mask and keep a distance – even though it is not always possible because of the number of people solely.
The celebration was preceded by a homophobic attack that appeared to the male partner on the Berlin subway Friday night.
The police said the people sat on the train when they were approached by strangers who insulted them and then punched one of the people several times.
Another passenger intervened and he was arrested after escaping for a while.
Also on Friday, Christian Stablein Bishop asked during service at Berlin Marienkirche for forgiveness from the LGBTQ community for suffering caused by the Evangelical Church.
