Threat of Nipah Virus: Basavaraj Bommai Looking for Reports

Bengaluru: The Chairman of the Minister of Bumavaraj Bommai said on Thursday that he had been looking for reports from the Secretary of Health and experts on the possibility of the impact of the Nipah virus in the state.
Based on report findings, it will take the necessary action.
On September 7, the state government has issued a consultation on the worries of the Nipah virus, asking tourists from Kerala to postpone their plans to visit Karnataka until October-end.
Have asked officials to create public awareness and develop a monitoring system to identify cases of encephalitis.
