Srinagar: Three Militants Lashkar-e-to-Touba (leave), including Pakistani citizens, killed in meetings with security forces in the Pulwama District in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, police said.
A gunbattle broke in the city of Pulwama in the South Kashmir District after security forces launched the Cordon-and-search operation after information about the presence of militants there, said a police officer.
He said search operations turned into a meeting after militants opened fire in security forces, who responded.
Three guerrillas were killed in Gunbattle.
“One of the killed terrorists has been identified as let the commander of Aijaz @abu Huraira,” said the official, added that the killed ultra was a citizen of Pakistan.
The official said the search operation was happening in the area.
